Blog is Now Active...

I had revived the blog just yesterday, renewing scripts and server addresses in the template. Its kinda difficult to find servers that provide free file hosting, especially those that can hot-link the files. The banner might not be working sometimes due to heavy network traffic. Well, the server might just remove the 140kb banner becoz of leeching :D

Currently working in Eli Lilly-NUS... A nice place... There, volunteers undergo clinical trials and compensated for about $80 for it. Interested? The study rooms or so called patient wards are well equipped with medical equipments except the labs I'm working in :D I'm happy that the company is paying me well, except that the working days are a little staggered. My combat medic skills are useful in the company :D Except the need for resuscitation protocols...

And why would I prefer working to studying full-time? Its because I'm too stressed up studying in university. Having problems with the course I've selected. I don't like to study for the sake of memorizing and getting through exams with sucky grades. That course would be a 4 year long struggle for me. Hate getting lousy grades after putting in much effort studying and learning... Doesn't make me feel any motivated, only disappointment...

That comes to my mind to start finding a job that fits in the schedule for my part-time course that I've registered in PSB Academy... Its right to say that the certificate doesn't worth much compared to reputable local universities. However, it has long term benefits. Not only I earn wages throughout the course, I'm able to get 2 degrees within the 4 year period. In addition, i get 4 years working experience compared to a degree fresh grad. After 4 years of work, my job would have been stable compared to fresh-entries, although starting pay might be lower (about $500? Lol).

In the field of life-sciences, you can't earn much without masters, that's sad.. If you think your brain functions like an ordinary PC, just go for a degree at least... If its a server, go for masters or even PhD :D

What am I doing at home... Well, doing housework and gaming :D for the time being... until my course starts this coming March... And I'm looking forward to it... Coz job+part-time study is my only option left to live with... I'm now enjoying life as much as possible before real work begins. Other than the part-time molecular biology degree course i'm taking, I might furthur my studies and taking up courses like pharmaceuticals, IT, and Business... In summary, i'll be spending the rest of my life studying... This would be the message for today. Its getting late :D

My First Book Out...

Ahhhh free at last after 2 weeks of BMT (PTP)... My first book out, went home, had dinner, then slept for about 11hours; woke up in between to use the computer to check the mail blah blah. Next day (Friday) went to Beach Rd with the bunk mates to buy the neccessary army stuff at about 2pm, miss my sushi buffet, but wat the heck, can save some money... went home, chat via SMS and MSN... And started toning the Yuna picture below until today...

Tml booking in, think it will be tough later on... Hmmm more suffering :D Well, dun really care much, just want to ORD ASAP and forget everything about NS, which is in fact a waste of time... Post me to commanding school or being condemned in logistics, i dun mind... Coz life sux... Coz we dun have much freedom from the start of life...

Yeh changed the old blog template to another address... Well tomorrow afternoon will be my enlistment... Wish me luck for the IPPT (A stupid test). I might or might not lose contact for about 2 years from now, but this will be my last day posting messages... Sad... I'll be spending most of the time doing "self" physical training at home or maybe go out for a jog after booking out... busy yah... No fear..

If there's anyone i noe out there who knows how to even start up this program called rigiedit in working condition, i'm most impressed... It is said to like compress image files into a smaller, abstract format using algorithms... Omg... What the heck... I don't even recall the programming languages for perl and visual basics, not to mention figuring out what a computer science student is studying... Well, this is the address for the program...

This program might be another 3D modelling software that export files in compressed .rsf for short, or (Rigi Standard Format). This program apparently interest me, not until I stop deciphering how to use it...

Changed the variable for that stupid rigicfg.env or (rigi configuration environment) $RIGI to the unzipped directory, haha... does not work... Oh man, I just can't get it to work...

Haha... I had made something out of my closet for a game called mount & blade... Fun... But I spent 1 1/2 days to get it done... Think u know what clothes is it, hehe, with the rank and all the badges on it... Well... Its not that i wear the bottom part of that zombie model in the picture, apparently looking like a skirt, but its b'coz the "mesh" or the "structure of the model" needs it to appear that way... Yea, made some other changes to the clothes too, notice it? Make a guess... Ooooo I'm hungry now.... Need to eat something...

My Sushi Making Guide :D

This is how i make the sushi rice...

INGREDIENTS:
· 3 cups Japanese-style rice
· 3 1/4 cups water
· 1/3 cup rice wine vinegar
· 2 tbsp sugar
· 1 tsp salt

Here's How:
1. Put the rice in a bowl and wash with cold water.
2. Repeat washing until the water becomes clear.
3. Drain the rice in a colander and set aside.
4. Place the rice in a pan or rice cooker and add water.
5. Use just enough water to cover the rice -- don't fill the entire pot.
6. Let the rice soak in the water at least 30 min. One hour is ideal.
7. If you are cooking the rice in a pan, cover the pan with a lid and bring to a boil over high heat.
8. Once the water boils, turn the heat down very low and cook about 15-20 min. until the water is almost gone.
9. Remove the pan from the heat and let it steam for 10-15 minutes before serving.

As for the mayonnaise + minced crabmeat/maize...
I experimented this once and it works... taste ok... (But pls cook the crabmeat and corn before u eat...)

• Use Ajinomoto's mayonnaise... it cost about $4.5o in NTUC
• *Dun cook too much crabsticks...
• Mix mayo + water(trial & error, until quite watery) + crabmeat/maize

Oh yah one more thing... Look at what type of seaweed before purchase... There's once i bought korean seaweed... omg... it sux like shit... too thin, salty, oily and doesn't stick well to the rice... Hmm.. sushi is an art that involves creativity.. try make something out of ordinary..

Hmmm... I think the words (translations) I added in this screenshot are kinda small, try clicking the image to view a larger picture. Well editting images and photos such as this, is very common in Japan... Too common for people there to be serious about. Might be too sensitive to Singaporeans though... This Jap drama somewhat resembles GTO. Instead of acting cool, the teacher is actually being cute to the students. I recommend you guys watch this drama, its nice (Suitable for Age >12). Lots of Yakuza statements. Hahaha Yankumi Sux...

This sub is pretty obvious... Sailor Moon... with 2 ponytails. She looks old in that obasan spectacles... But cute :D Being Pang Seh and posing as the only cheerleader in school, this footage is the most comical. This is 09/12 episodes, feel sad that this PART of the story and all the fun is coming to an end soon...

The net has everything you can find including the "materials" or in my own term... "skins" for the objects, save me all the trouble finding and snapping photoes. My "product" will look exactly like the one in the picture only if I'm at Mt. Falcon with my Sony digital camera... Other more challenging projects including the interior designing of my room and also, Ngee Ann's convention centre was also attempted months or a year ago. Now more flexible in using the software after learning "Material Application". Structuring the exterior of Singapore Convention Centre will take days prior to its complexity in design, scale of project too large to handle especially in tight schedule. However, I'm still able to pwn with that one...
